WaterFest is a free celebration of our clean lakes and offers outdoor fun and opportunities for hands-on learning about the water quality, wildlife, and special ecological features of our beautiful watershed.

WaterFest was created in 2000 and remains an annual fun family event featuring:

Paddle on the Lake!
Try your hand at paddling a Voyageur canoe, kayak or canoe.

Fishing – Lessons & Contest!
Cast your fishing rod and learn about different fishing techniques and the value of clean water. Use your new fishing skills to enter the fishing contest.

More Boating! 
Take a spin on a paddleboat.
Arts & Crafts!
Make a fish print., or a bead critter.
Native Plant Give-Away!
Identify native plants and select one to take home.
Street Sweeper!
Climb in the cab and learn how clean streets keep lakes clean.
Putt Putt golf for clean water.

Enjoy performances in the amphitheater.
Learn to tie a fishing lure and take one home.
